Obituary: Anncarol (Follo) Saviano, 70

February 11, 1952 ~ April 30, 2022

Anncarol (Follo) Saviano, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 with her loving family at her side. Born in Boston, she is the beloved daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna (Rubbico) Follo. 

Anncarol grew up in East Boston and was a graduate of Girl’s Latin High School. She then earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Northeastern University and then for many years, worked as an insurance underwriter. Anncarol was married to her husband Paul for 45 years and raised their family in Reading. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Athanasius Church in Reading. Anncarol enjoyed cooking and baking, hosting annual Christmas gatherings and heading the social committee for Regency at Methuen. She and Paul enjoyed seeing the country on their annual road trips. Her greatest joy through the years came from her family, friends, and loving grandchildren, she will be deeply missed.

In addition to being the loving wife of Paul F. Saviano, she is the devoted mother of Paul A. Saviano and his wife Kimberly of Reading, Marisa Ann Jackson and her husband Brandon of Dracut and Stephen J. Saviano and his wife Martina of North Reading. Cherished Nonni of Giada, Loui, Gino and James. Loving sister of Josephine Colarusso and her husband Vincent of Revere, Carl Follo and his wife Pam of Del Ray Beach, FL, Gloria Almeida and her husband Michael of Reading and the late Marie J. Aiesi and her late husband Joseph Aiesi. Anncarol also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather with Anncarol’s family for visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (Corner of Park St. and Rt. 28 at the Reading Line) on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 from 4 to 8pm.

Funeral procession from the funeral home on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading, MA at 10:30am. 

Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
