To the editor:
I’ll be voting enthusiastically for Jackie McCarthy for the Select Board on April 5 because of her experience, knowledge, analytical approach to decision-making, and her interpersonal skills. She has served on the Finance Committee and in Town Meeting. Her experience in Town government will be invaluable as we move forward with our new Town Manager.
She has also been a neighborhood activist, fostering a community problem-solving conversation in a constructive and professional manner. Her ability to absorb and process information in order to make good decisions will be valuable. She’s a good listener, a thoughtful person, and someone who can discuss issues with civility and respect for everyone – good attributes to have on the Select Board.
Please join me in voting for Jackie McCarthy on April 5, so the Town can continue to benefit from her commitment to problem-solving in the best interests of our community.
