Sandra D. (Fransen) Richards, a longtime resident of Reading, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on March 12, 2022. Sandra was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 3, 1944, the daughter of the late Uno A. and Dorothy (Cardarelli) Fransen.
Sandra enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Sandra was the beloved wife of William E. Richards. Devoted mother of Mark E. Richards and his wife Elizabeth of Reading and Kaelan W. Richards and his wife Kelly of Wilmington. Cherished sister of Norma Mitchell of New Hampshire, Neil Fransen of Maine and Mark Fransen of N. Reading. Loving grandmother of Annie, Ellie, Jack, Elsa and Nolan.
Services for Sandra are private and there are no visiting hours.
