Church of the Good Shepherd’s FALL-iday Fair

Fair Hybrid This Year

Get a jump start on your holiday shopping both in-person and online!

Reading, MA — Looking to get a jump-start on your holiday shopping while helping a great cause? Due to the pandemic, Church of the Good Shepherd in Reading will be hosting its annual FALL-iday Fair as a hybrid event this year, from Friday, November 12 through Saturday, November 20. The FALL-iday Fair is our most ambitious fundraiser of the year.

“With the continued pandemic, we chose to hold this year’s FALL-iday Fair as a hybrid event to enable those who miss the in-person event to join us at the church. For those who are cautious about attending in-person or can’t make it in-person, we are also offering the quality and homemade charm that people have come to expect in an online setting,” said Rev. Brian Raiche, Church of the Good Shepherd’s pastor.

Shop Online from November 12 – 20

“Visitors to the FALL-iday Fair website will find virtual rooms that offer an assortment of gift cards, gift baskets, and delicious baked items,” said Rev. Raiche. Tickets to our Grand Raffle will also be for sale online.

Come in person on November 20

We welcome all masked individuals to join us in person at the church on Saturday, November 20th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. It will include the Bargain Box (including special discount and Christmas sections), the Good Shepherd Crafters, a raffle table, tickets to our Grand Raffle, and much more!

Feeling lucky?

We encourage those attending the fair either in-person or online to consider purchasing raffle tickets to support the fair and the church. Raffle tickets can be purchased online from November 12-20. A winner from the Grand Drawing for the raffle will be announced at the fair and online via Zoom at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 20 (see website for Zoom conferencing details).

Picking-up online purchases

Pick-up for all online purchases will be on Sunday, November 21 from 11:30 am -12:30 pm at the church. If you cannot pick up at this time, please contact the church office at (781) 944-1572 to make other arrangements.

“The FALL-iday Fair truly gets everyone in the holiday spirit and is certainly one of my favorite events,” added Rev. Raiche. “Hosting this year’s FALL-iday fair as a hybrid event gives us an opportunity to offer in-person community, while also expanding it to anyone with online access. I encourage everyone to check out the website on November 12 or come in person on the 20. It’s going to be a lot of fun!”
