Legal Notice – Sturges Pump Station Improvements

The Town of Reading is accepting Sealed Bids for contract 21-23  STURGES PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS Project.  

The work of this Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the improvements to the existing Sturges Wastewater Pumping Station in the Town of Reading, Massachusetts including, but not limited to the following: test pits, new submersible wastewater pump station, new valve vault, new section of force main, new wastewater grinder, new emergency generator, new electrical control panel, demolition of existing wastewater pump station, by-pass pumping, paving and site work.

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online to www.BidNetDirect.com prior to September 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.   

Bid Documents will be available after 9 a.m. on August 19, 2021 online at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/townofreading 

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid.

Minimum Wage Rates MGL C. 149 Section 26 to 27D, as amended, 

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.
