Cecile Anna Doyon, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was 91 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Maurice Doyon, daughter of the late Odilon and Bertha (Godbout) Denoncourt. She was born and raised in Pinardville, NH and moved to Reading after getting married in 1951. She leaves behind her brothers Leo and wife Monique Denoncourt of Louisville, KY, and Alfred and wife Cheryl Denoncourt of Center Ossipee, NH. Her youngest brother Donald Denoncourt of New Port Richey, FL passed away in April.
Cecile was the loving mother of 13 children, Raymond and wife Cindy of Meredith, NH, Barbara and husband Jim Fitzpatrick of Reading, MA, Debra and husband Paul Terranova of Wilmington, MA, Steven and wife Midge of Wilmington, MA, Alan, and wife Debi of Meredith, NH, David of Moultonborough, NH, Linda and husband Ken Glahn of Eastham, MA, Christopher and wife Jeanne of Reading, MA, Gary and wife Meg of Beverly, MA, Kevin and wife Cassie of Bradford, MA, Maureen and late husband Jack Confalone of Tewksbury, MA, Pamela of Salem, NH, and Brenda with fiancée Ted Huemmler of Elliot, ME.
She was also the loving Memere to her 36 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Cecile was a homemaker and resident of Reading for 30 years before moving to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She enjoyed horseback riding as a young girl, was a talented artist, loved the outdoors, nature, downhill, then cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice-skating, and golfing, but most of all she loved children and family. After living the next 35 years in the towns of Lisbon, Twin Mountain, and Meredith, New Hampshire, she returned to Massachusetts to live at Artis Senior Living of Reading, where she enjoyed the activities and life assistance from the loving caregivers.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating the life of Cecile will be held at St. Athanasius Church, her home parish for most of her years while living in Reading. The services will remain private due to Covid restrictions.

Cecile and Maurice devoted many years of their retirement life to further the mission of the camp to provide a tuition-free summer camp program to the underprivileged children of New Hampshire.
