Mr. Bacci’s fanciful letter to The Reading Post gives the false impression that the Board of Registrars upheld the legitimacy of the signatures on the recall petition. It most certainly did not. What the Board did was to accede to Ms. Alvarado’s decision to withdraw her objections to the many questionable signatures in order to permit the recall election to go forward.
Mr. Bacci is certainly free to voice his opinion about a fellow Board member. He is not free to manufacture his own set of facts.
