Obituary: Antonios Dogiakis, 76

February 10, 1944 – April 26, 2020

Reading, MA — Antonios Dogiakis of Reading formerly of Woburn passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Bear Mountain at Reading Nursing Home. He was 76 years of age.

Antonios was born on February 10, 1944, in Chania, Crete, Greece. He is the loving son of the late Nick Dogiakis and Helen (Papadakis) Dogiakis. Antonios is a warm, kind, and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed.

Antonios was a dedicated accountant and bookkeeper for many years. His true love was for his family. Spending time with family and friends came first and foremost to him. He was an active member of the Pancretan Association where he served as Auditor General. Antonios was an artist who loved photography and watercolor painting. He also loved the Patriots, Red Sox, and his Greek soccer team.

Antonios is the beloved husband of Annette (Belmont) Dogiakis. He is the devoted father of Nick Dogiakis and Helen Kuenstler and her husband Rich. The cherished grandfather of Jack and Alexa, Antonios is the dear brother of Maria Lyrakis and the late Paul Dogiakis. He is also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Dogiakis’ family will gather privately at Lakeside Cemetery. For the safety of those they love and care so much for, a celebration of his life will be held when social distancing guidelines allow.
