Engineer a Rube Goldberg MachineDesign and build a Rube Goldberg machine at Reading Public Library in this teen workshop presented by educator Jay Mankita. Goofy fun and real engineering with tools & hardware, all with a bit of Rube Goldberg history thrown into the mix! A Rube Goldberg Machine is a contraption that is deliberately over-engineered to perform a simple task in a complicated manner. It is named after American cartoonist and inventor, Rube Goldberg.
