The Reading Bulldogs won their game on Tuesday, July 10, against the Wakefield Merchants 3-2. The Bulldogs play in the Boston Intercity Baseball League. This is an amateur league founded 67 years ago for local baseball franchises. Reading, Wakefield, Lexington, Watertown, and Arlington are just a few of the cities that participate in this league. Many of the players of the Intercity League have gone on to careers in professional baseball, as well as many great colleges across the country.

The Reading Bulldogs play the Somerville Royals at the Reading Memorial High School Morton Field on Sunday July 16. It is a doubleheader with the first game at 3:00 p.m. and the second at 5:00 p.m., and free to go attend. Their entire schedule is also available here.
