Join us for a fun Antique Appraisal Event to support Reading Elder Services! Sponsored by the Friends of Reading Seniors 60 Plus.
Reading, MA — The Friends of Reading Seniors 60 Plus invite the community to uncover hidden treasures while supporting a great cause at their upcoming Antique Appraisal Event. All proceeds will benefit Reading Elder Services.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
- Session 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (arrival by 9:30 AM)
- Session 2: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (arrival by 12:00 PM)
- Location: Christ The King Parish Center, St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn Street, Reading, MA
Attendees are encouraged to bring 1 to 3 items for appraisal by seasoned professionals. The cost is $10 per item or 3 items for $25. Please note: sports memorabilia, weapons, and unusual ethnic items will not be appraised.
A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated. Light refreshments will be served throughout the event.
The event will feature guest speaker Douglas Stinson, a respected authority with over 40 years of experience in Fine Art auctions, appraisals, and antiques. Mr. Stinson will offer expert insights into today’s antique market and share stories about local historical treasures.
