Free roses, love poems and author appearances highlight the August 15 celebration in downtown Reading
Reading, MA – Whitelam Books is excited to participate in the 8th Annual National Bookstore Romance Day on Saturday, August 15 from 10:00AM to 5:30PM. We’ll be celebrating all things romance: authors, books and readers!
Whitelam Books is located in downtown Reading at 610 Main Street, near the intersection of Haven Street and Main Street. This event is free and open to the public – all are welcome!
About the Event:
In honor of Bookstore Romance Day, our favorite love-inspired promotion is back and even better this year: buy any romance novel, and get a free rose; PLUS, take home a free love poem with ANY purchase!
We’ll also have two authors on hand as honorary booksellers to chat with you about their books and favorite romances! Meet author Jilly Gagnon (What If It’s You? and Love You, Mean It) from 11:30AM to 1:00PM, and author Betty Cayouette (One Last Shot & Tell Me How You Really Feel) from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
