Reading Memorial High School Select Choir Brings Holiday Cheer Through Community Caroling Fundraiser

Reading, MA — The Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) Select Choir officially kicked off the holiday season today with a joyful performance at the Festival of Trees. Their appearance marked the beginning of several weeks of festive performances and community outreach through the choir’s popular Holiday Caroling Fundraiser.

Throughout December, the RMHS Select Choir will bring the magic of live holiday music directly to homes, businesses, senior residences, and special events across Reading. Proceeds from the fundraiser directly support the Reading Memorial High School Choral Program.

Community members can reserve a 10-minute private caroling experience for $40. Just a few time slots remain this year for:

In addition to private caroling, students are especially grateful for the opportunity to serve local seniors through performances for residents and families at Artis Senior Living of Reading and The Residences at Pearl Street over the course of the four nights of scheduled caroling in Reading.

“Caroling is a wonderful tradition in the RMHS choir program going back many years,” said Andy Mullen, RMHS Choir Director. “I am very proud to be the director of this group, and carry this holiday tradition forward in the Reading community. The students continue to impress me with their talent and dedication, and I look forward to sharing their musical spirit this holiday season.”

The public is also invited to attend the annual Winter Songfest Concert, celebrating all RMHS choirs:
