Obituary: Pamela A. Webb, 71

April 29, 1954  –  November 19, 2025

Pamela Ann (MacDonald) Webb, 71, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with lung cancer.

Born to Grace L. (Amero) MacDonald and Philip L. MacDonald on April 29, 1954, in Revere, MA. Pam was raised in Reading, Massachusetts, and spent her happiest childhood summers in Gloucester, where she made lifelong memories with her family, especially with her cherished Auntie, whose influence and love stayed with her throughout her life. She later married and moved to Merrimac, MA, where she built friendships and a community to last a lifetime. For the past 25 years, she lived in Newbury, MA, while continuing to spend her summers in Gloucester.

Pam was the devoted mother of David H. Mason II and his wife Susan, Philip E. Jones and his girlfriend Linda and Natale G. Smith and her husband Jonathan. Of all the roles she held, being “Nonni” was her greatest joy. She adored her two grandsons, Jacobbe and Jovian Smith, who were truly the lights of her life. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins,

neighbors, and lifelong friends whom she considered family. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Philip, Alice and Charles Lee, Myrna Jones and Earle “Bud” Jones; her niece, Erin Lupis Goodwin; her former husbands, David

Mason, Warren Jones, and David Webb.

A natural entrepreneur with boundless energy and creativity, Pam built several successful businesses over the years, including All About Fitness, Natale’s Pizza, and Cleaning Solutions.

Pam embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved reading, the beach, traveling, Disney, staying active, long walks with friends, the Red Sox, cooking, good food, learning the Italian language, wine, and chocolate. She loved teaching aerobics at Gold’s Gym for many years and in the afternoon program in Merrimac elementary schools. She also taught children’s knitting and

crochet classes, and she loved gifting her beautiful, handmade afghans to every family member. They are treasures that will be cherished forever. She never missed a sporting event for her grandchildren and was fondly known as everyone’s “Nonni,” cheering for every player just as loudly as she did for her own. Fiercely passionate about caring for the planet, she was dedicated to recycling, reusing, and teaching others to do the same. Often with her signature humor and her Friday “PFF” posts on social media.

Known as the life of every gathering and the most positive person you’d ever meet, Pam brought laughter, strength, and a vibrant spirit wherever she went. She was always ready with a gift in hand, or sharing a piece of jewelry she made, sometimes right off of herself. Her kindness, determination, and love will continue to shine in all who were lucky enough to know her.

All are welcome to a Celebration of Pam’s life which will be held on May 2, 2026, in Gloucester, MA. Please save the date and join us in honoring a remarkable woman who brought joy and positivity to so many.
