Reading, MA — Help us help our neighbors. The Reading Food Pantry is partnering with Creative Arts in a food drive from November 7 to November 21 to help local neighbors and families with food needs, especially during this holiday season. Food can be dropped off in bins outside the Creative Arts office located at 25 Woburn Street in Reading.
Suggested food items: stuffing mix, instant mashed potatoes, canned or jarred cranberry sauce, canned or jarred vegetables, rice, canned or boxed milk, oil, jarred gravy, canned or boxed broth, canned ham, dinner rolls, instant cornbread mix. Also, ready-made desserts like pies, cakes, and cookies are also welcome.
Stop-n-Shop or Market Basket gift cards in any denomination are also accepted, so that meat, fresh fruit, and vegetables can be purchased.
