Wakefield Arts and Crafts Society Hosts Paper Star Workshop, Prepares for Annual Exhibit and Sale

Wakefield, MA — The Wakefield Arts and Crafts Society met on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church. Our workshop featured the making of lovely paper stars led by Sandy Bates and Elaine Grosso. Shown in the photo are JoAnn Rondelli, Mary Mackey, Laura Sargent, Fran Przyjemski, and Robin Gorfine. These stars make great party decorations and are fun to make for kids and adults alike. 

The annual exhibit and craft sale of the Wakefield Arts and Crafts Society will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon St., Wakefield. Admission and parking are free. The venue is handicapped accessible. Homemade cookies, craft supplies,s and finished crafts will be for sale, and a beautiful quilt and afghan raffle will be held to compliment the exhibit of intricate and beautiful hand-crafted items made by the members.
