Program sponsored by Reading Neighbors Network and Reading Public Library
Reading, MA — On Tuesday, November 19, at 3 p.m. in the Reading Public Library Meeting Room, Matt and Danielle Noyes will present a program exploring the meteorological side of climate change. Known as Boston’s “power couple of weather,” Matt and Danielle have decades of weather forecasting experience on Boston’s television networks.
The Noyes recently developed a new method of delivering weather information using their app, which you can find on their website, 1DegreeOutside.com. In this presentation, they will focus on how climate change is affecting known weather patterns, what we can do to adjust to these climate variations, and how the big picture of forecasting works for their new weather model.
Reading Neighbors Network is excited to partner with the Reading Public Library’s Adult Programming for this presentation as part of their “Dig In” grant, which focuses on “intergenerational and inclusive education on nature and sustainability.”
The program begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Reading Public Library community meeting rooms. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. for a short time of socialization and light refreshment. You won’t want to miss this presentation!
This program has applied for support from the Reading Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
