Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department has arrested a 27-year-old male in connection with a stabbing early Tuesday.
First responders received a 911 call at 12:13 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, reporting a stabbing on Bond Street.
The suspect was captured around 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Reading Police would like to thank all who assisted in the search.
Police received mutual aid from North Reading and Wilmington, and the Woburn drone unit.
No further details are being released at this time.

READING — Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department is seeking a 27-year-old male in connection with a stabbing that took place early Tuesday.
First responders received a 911 call at 12:13 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, reporting a stabbing on Bond Street.
Police say they are looking for a 27-year-old white male who is 6 feet tall and weighs 220 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt. He is believed to be armed with a razor blade and/or a box cutter.
He fled the scene on foot and is believed to still be nearby.
