[The following candidacy statement is for the Reading Special Election of May 14, 2024]
Dear Reading Friends and Neighbors,
I would like to announce that I am continuing my campaign and I ask for your vote for Reading Select Board on or before May 14. I am an active volunteer in town and serve as an elected Town Meeting member, a member of Partners and Allies for Inclusive Reading (PAIR) and CATO – The Coalition of Us, and I attend and watch a variety of town government meetings to stay informed. I would be honored to continue my service to our community.
My priorities as a Select Board member would be:
- Tax relief for residents
- Thoughtful and informed infrastructure planning, including MBTA Communities Act considerations
- Greater accessibility for residents
I look forward to expanding on my platform, meeting more of my neighbors, and hearing your concerns. Let’s work together to find a solution that works for Reading. Make your plan to vote in this special local election on or before May 14 and I look forward to earning your vote!
