Invitation to Bid – HVAC Maintenance & Repair Contract

The Town of Reading, Massachusetts invites bids for:

“HVAC MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR CONTRACT” Contract No. 22-03

The Proposal, Specifications and Bid Forms for the contract may be examined and copies obtained through the Procurement Office located at the above address, Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm after July 21st at 9 am or via email at purchasing@ci.reading.ma.us.  Please note that Town Hall is closed on Fridays.

Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office at the above address before 1:00 P.M. on August 4, 2021, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Visit www.readingma.gov for additional information.

The contract will be awarded under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149 to the lowest cost responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total price for all three years of the contract. 

The Town of Reading accepts no responsibility and will provide no accommodation to Bidders who submit a response and or bid based on an out-of-date solicitation or on information received from a source other than the Town of Reading.

The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to award or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town’s and/or the public’s best interest.
