Obituary: Barbara A. Langill, 83

Barbara A. Langill, age 83 of Reading and a former Stoneham resident, passed away comfortably on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Winchester. She was born in Revere, MA, on October 11, 1942, and was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Gallella) Patti. Raised in Stoneham, she graduated from Stoneham High School. She worked for many years in the health care field as a Home Health Aid for many families. Barbara was a lover of pansies; she loved to cook, enjoyed spending time with family, loved the music of Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson, and took pride in decorating her home for the holidays. Barbara was a talented artist who loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse and collected anything featuring them.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Langill. She was the loving mother of Raymond R. Langill and his wife, Tricia, and Samuel G. Langill, all of Stoneham, and the proud grandmother of Patrick and Brian Langill. She was the sister of the late George and Lorraine Patti. She was the aunt of Barbara Buggy and husband Michael, Charlene Borthwick, Joan Borthwick, Michael Patti, and Nicolette Berte. Also, the great aunt of Michael Buggy and wife Jill, Ashley Chu and husband Josh, Coran Buggy, Tyler and Timothy Gordon, Anthony Solazzo and Calvin, Malcolm and June Patti.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham, on Thursday, June 18, at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:30. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
