Andover Choral Society and New England Classical Singers present a historic choral program with a live 18th-century reenactment
Andover, MA — Please join the Andover Choral Society, directed by Matthew Buono, and the New England Classical Singers, directed by David Hodgkins, for a musical celebration of our nation’s 250th Anniversary.
“Songs of Freedom” offers an exploration of choral music created at pivotal times in American history from the 1700s to the 21st century. Themes of peace, of conflict, of gallantry, of pioneering, and of enduring hope resonate throughout this program – all presented by two of the Merrimack Valley’s most beloved choral groups.
This special performance features a guest appearance by The Danvers Alarm List Company, an 18th-century living history reenactment group, creating a unique patriotic experience.
Concert tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students. To purchase tickets or to learn more, please visit andoverchoralsociety.org or newenglandclassical.org.
