Free spring programs help residents personalize devices, save money, and build digital skills through hands-on classes and one-on-one support

READING, MA — This spring, the Reading Public Library (RPL) is offering two programs designed to help you master your devices and keep more money in your pocket.

On April 29, join Kev-Tech Services to learn how to customize your iPhone and iPad to better suit your needs. This class will cover topics such as reorganizing your home screens, creating folders, adjusting display settings, and personalizing wallpapers and lock screens. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.

In May, Mystic Valley Elder Services will present a five-part series focused on using technology to save money. Participants will learn how to safely manage financial information online and explore digital tools for shopping, entertainment, prescription savings, and everyday purchases. Registration covers all five sessions. Participants should be comfortable using the internet and have an active email account.

For those seeking individualized assistance, RPL also offers one-on-one tech appointments tailored to your needs—whether setting up a new device, managing files, or troubleshooting issues. Appointments can be booked through the library’s online calendar for hands-on support.
