Graduating seniors pursuing nursing careers invited to apply by May 1; recipients to be honored at June fundraiser
The MMTrant Foundation is proud to announce the continuation of the Mary Margaret Trant Nursing Scholarship for the Class of 2026.
Established in 2021 in memory of Stoneham High School alumna Mary M. Trant, the scholarship supports graduating seniors pursuing a career in nursing. Eligible applicants must be accepted into an accredited nursing program and attend one of the following local high schools: Bishop Fenwick, Danvers, Lynnfield, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Tewksbury, Wakefield, Wilmington, or Woburn. Students pursuing pre-med or other health-related undergraduate programs are not eligible.
Scholarship awards vary each year based on available funding, made possible through the generosity of donors contributing memorial gifts, general donations, and bequests.
Completed applications are due by May 1, 2026, and may be submitted online at mmtrantfoundation.org or by mail (see website for details).
Recipients will be formally honored during the MMTrant Foundation’s public fundraiser on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00–9:30 PM on the Green at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
