To the Editor,
My name is Allison Powell, a lifelong Reading resident and member of the Reading Memorial High School Class of 2020, and I’m running for Town Meeting in Precinct 3. I’m grateful for the community that has shaped who I am.
Town Meeting is where residents directly shape how our town spends its money and sets its priorities. I want to ensure that Reading remains fiscally responsible, keeps programs affordable for taxpayers, and approaches every decision with common sense and practicality.
I’m running because I believe residents who care about our town should step forward and serve. I will bring thoughtful, independent leadership focused on prudent stewardship and the long-term well-being of our community.
I would be honored to represent my neighbors in Precinct 3 and respectfully ask for your vote in the Town Election on April 7.
Sincerely,
Allison Powell
Town Meeting Precinct 3 Candidate
