Reading, MA — The 32nd Annual Tree Lighting on Reading Common took place on Sunday, November 30, from 2:00 until 4:30, when Santa arrived by firetruck to light up the display.
The event, sponsored by the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce, was a longtime holiday favorite that drew thousands of community members. Activities included making s’mores, hayrides, jugglers, carolers, costumed characters, trolley rides, and more. The Women’s League of Reading served hot chocolate, and local restaurants offered tasty snacks.
