Wakefield Porchfest 2025 Schedule Unveiled

Interactive map features 130 acts at 66 venues; 12 sponsors and new event headquarters announced 

WAKEFIELD, MA – The Wakefield Porchfest Committee has launched the first official schedule for the 2025 event, including an interactive map that allows attendees to discover the 66 homes and businesses that will host more than 130 local musical acts on Saturday, September 6th.  

The 2025 event offers a solid mix of venues across Wakefield, including 18 hosts on the West Side, 16 in Greenwood, 14 in Downtown/Wakefield Square, 10 in Montrose/Woodville, and eight on the East Side. This year’s lineup features 14 host locations within 1/4 mile of downtown Wakefield, including acts hosted by several businesses. 

Wakefield Porchfest is honored to welcome new community sponsors, adding 12 organizations as financial contributors to the 2025 event, separated into three music-themed levels of support (* denotes a host location):

Another new feature in 2025 is the addition of the Albion Cultural Exchange (9 Albion Street) as a central headquarters for the event, which will allow Porchfest attendees to purchase commemorative items, such as t-shirts, and to find information on venues. The Porchfest welcome center will be open during event hours, from noon to 6 p.m. on September 6th

Wakefield Porchfest will also host a table at the Wakefield Farmers Market on both Saturday, August 23rd, and Saturday, August 30th, which will feature Wakefield Porchfest T-shirts and other merchandise for sale. 

About Wakefield Porchfest

Launched in 2024, Wakefield Porchfest joins more than 230 cities, towns, and neighborhoods that host a version of the community-focused music event, which started in Ithaca, NY.  In its first year, Wakefield Porchfest featured 105 acts that performed at 50 locations across the North Shore town.
