Temple Emmanuel Welcomes Rabbi Michah Becker-Klein and other September events

Wakefield, MA — September will be a busy month for members and guests of Temple Emmanuel this year. We will be welcoming Rabbi Michah Becker-Klein with several special events starting with the first Shabbat Celebration on Friday evening, September 6, at 7:30 pm. The weekend will continue with a Tot Shabbat on Saturday morning at 9:30 and the Wakefield Porchfest from 1pm to 5 pm, featuring a solo act, a duo, and a full Cajun band.

On Sunday September 7 the community will hold an open house from 10:30 to 1 pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Rabbi Michah. There will be family fun with coffee, bagels, icecream, music and Jonah’s Twister’s balloon animals. Learn about special temple events: Sisterhood, Temple Reads, concerts, and more.

Continuing in September will see CHAI SCHOOL’s first day of classes on Tuesday, September 9, at 3:30, taught by Brenda Dolan and Rabbi Michah. Registration can be found on temple’s website.
