Melrose, MA — Reading resident Christen Foy was named a recipient of the 2025 MelroseWakefield Hospital President’s Award for Exemplary Leadership at a ceremony held at the hospital during National Hospital Week.
The award was established in 2018 in honor of former MelroseWakefield Hospital President and CEO Alan Macdonald to continue his spirit of leadership after his retirement. The award is given annually to leaders “who strengthen the culture, lift others up and lead not for recognition, but because they care deeply about the people they serve and the work we do together.” This year, five leaders were chosen as recipients.
“Each of these individuals represents the very best of who we are,” said Interim President Bill Wyman. “They lead with heart, build trust, and deliver meaningful results. We are proud to recognize their contributions, and even prouder to work alongside them.”
