Artists Can Earn Up to $35,000 for Vibrant, Authentic Art Pieces Funded by State Grant Program
Reading, MA — The Town of Reading is inviting artists to submit proposals for visually engaging and vibrant art installations to be placed in the Downtown Area. This exciting opportunity offers artists the chance to showcase their creativity through ‘formed’ art pieces, such as sculptures, seating, and other interactive structures that reflect the spirit of the community.
Selected artist(s) will receive awards of up to $35,000, funded through the Local Rapid Recovery Program (LRRP) State Grant. The Town is seeking art that is bold, fun, and authentic, aiming to enhance the visual landscape and attract visitors to the Downtown Area.
Submission Deadline: June 12, 2025, by 3:00 PM
Artists are encouraged to submit their proposals either in person to the Reading Town Hall, Public Services Division, or via email at PLANNING@READINGMA.GOV.
