October 1, 1938 ~ February 22, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvatore Fulchini, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who departed this life peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 22, 2025, at the age of 86.
Salvatore was born in the small town of Gesualdo, Italy, and he happily spent his childhood surrounded by his loving extended family. At the age of 17, he moved to the United States, where destiny graciously introduced him to the love of his life, Ida (Melagrano) Fulchini. Their meeting began a beautiful love story that would last a lifetime. A year later, Sal and Ida married, weaving their lives together in a partnership filled with love, joy, and unwavering support.
Together, Sal and Ida built a beautiful family. Blessed with two devoted children, Carmen Fulchini and his wife Victoria of Londonderry, NH, and Sandy (Fulchini) Emery and Kevin Emery of Reading, MA, they raised their family with values of love, respect, and hard work. Later in life, Sal and Ida made their home in Reading, creating a nurturing space not only for their children but also for their cherished grandchildren. Salvatore took pride in being a hands-on grandfather to Kyle, Dylan, and Jake Emery, delivering love, laughter, and countless memories that will forever live on in their hearts.
Salvatore was known for his wisdom, warmth, and zest for life. He enjoyed cooking traditional Italian meals for his family, making espresso and cappuccinos with his professional machine, sharing stories from his youth in Italy, and celebrating special occasions with deep laughter and warmth. He will be remembered not just for the roles he played in his family but for the generous spirit he shared with every person he met.
He joins his ancestors in eternal rest, but his legacy of love will continue to thrive through the memories cherished by his family and friends. A devoted husband, nurturing father, and cherished grandfather, Salvatore leaves behind a family that will forever hold his teachings close to their hearts.
