Representative Haggerty Attends Clean Energy Bill Signing Ceremony

DORCHESTER – State Representative Richard M. Haggerty (D-Woburn) recently attended the Clean Energy Bill signing ceremony at IBEW 103 in Dorchester. Haggerty joined Governor Maura Healey (D), House Speaker Ronald J. Mariano (D-Quincy), House and Senate Chairs Jeffrey N. Roy (D-Franklin), and Mike Barrett (D-Lexington) of the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy along with business and union leaders. The new law offers a moderate-income rate structure, cuts red tape in the permitting process, ensures stakeholder input, and invests in innovative technologies. Furthermore, the legislation aims to create clean energy jobs, drive energy independence, and promote economic growth.
