Reading Open Land Trust Announces New Trail

Reading, MA — The Reading Open Land Trust Corp. (ROLT) is pleased to announce that a new trail has been added to the repertoire of trails in Reading. The Evergreen trail can be accessed using the easement off Kylie Drive. Once on the trail, continue over a wooden bridge. The trail is several hundred yards down the main path, on the left. It is a half-mile loop that returns to the main trail. This trail is part of a network that is over one mile long and terminates on Charles Street by the cemetery wall.

ROLT extends its thanks to the Reading Trails Committee for its excellent work in planning and layout, as well as for its work on other town and ROLT properties.

ROLT is also excited to announce the addition of Michael Koehler, a practicing lawyer at Keegan Werlin, LLP, to its board of directors.

Michael has been a resident of Reading for 14 years and also serves as a Board Member, and coach, of Reading Youth Soccer. He enjoys hiking in Reading with his family and exploring the trails in the town forest and other parcels. Outside of Reading, Mike serves as an alumni volunteer for Phillips Academy (Andover) and on the Board of Advisors for Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound Education Center in Boston Harbor.
