NEMLEC Police Foundation to Host Annual Comedy Night

DRACUT — The Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Foundation, Inc., announces that it will host its annual comedy night in early November to raise money for critical training programs for police officers in northeastern Massachusetts.

WHEN: Friday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Four Oaks Country Club, 1 Clubhouse Ln, Dracut, MA

WHAT: The NEMLEC Foundation hosts its annual comedy night featuring two of Boston’s best comedians, as well as a cheese and cracker display, cocktail reception, and full buffet-style dinner, as well as dessert and coffee. 

Tickets are $75 per person, or $750 for a table of 10. There are also several sponsorship opportunities that range in cost from $250 to $2,000. 

Proceeds will assist NEMLEC’s training programs, including NEMLEC SWAT/RRT/K-9 training, NEMLEC Motor Unit Annual training, NEMLEC STARS training, basic and advanced criminal investigation training, school and business safety summits, and active shooter training. The programs are available to officers in the NEMLEC region, which is comprised of 65 law enforcement agencies in Middlesex and Essex counties.

The money also will be used to support local charities, including Cops for Kids with Cancer, which supports families who are struggling with childhood cancer.
