Author Cathy Stanton comes to Whitelam Books to discuss Food Margins: Lessons from an Unlikely Grocer

Reading, MA — Tufts University Professor and anthropologist Cathy Stanton will be at Whitelam Books Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 PM to discuss her book Food Margins: Lessons from an Unlikely Grocer. Part memoir, part history lesson, this book details Stanton’s experience trying to save a small food coop in rural Massachusetts. 

The author will be joining the Whitelam Books monthly, drop-in Non-Fiction Book Club for this discussion. All are warmly invited to attend this free event, even if they have not read the book. This conversation will be of interest to anyone wanting to learn how to create a more socially and economically just food system.
