Stephen H. Ellis, of Reading, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 11th, 2024. He was 77 years of age.
Stephen loved his family and friends. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Bruins. He was a member of the American Legion Post 62 – Reading for over 20 years. He loved cooking and gardening.
Stephen is the beloved son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Muse) Ellis. He is the loving brother of Ruthann Slone, Debra Ellis, William Ellis, Richard Ellis, Lawrence Ellis, David Ellis and the late Jean Jones. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with his family in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING on Friday July 19th, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
