Former resident David Mancuso missed the irony of his recent letter to the editor scolding our community for its politics from his current location in Charlestown.
Mr. Mancuso, in my opinion, was one of the originators of an approach to civic participation that encouraged division, rather than a non-partisan approach to conflict resolution as a co-founder of the former Making Reading Better organization.
At the end of his new letter, Mr. Mancuso states that “it’s hard to watch from afar.” Luckily all Mr. Mancuso has to do is turn off his television, laptop, or phone and relieve himself of the burden of distressing himself any further.
