Reading Police Department Arrests and Charges Gill Man with Unarmed Robbery

READING – Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department arrested a Gill man and charged him with several crimes following a series of incidents on Monday night.

On Monday, July 1, at approximately 10:20 p.m. Reading Police responded to a fast food restaurant at 257 Main St. for reports of a man causing a disturbance and stealing food. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that a man had stolen a food order from a driver in the drive-through window and ran away.

A preliminary investigation identified that man as TETREAULT, who is known to police.

At 10:41 p.m., officers received another report from a resident on Main Street that a man was in their backyard and refused to leave.

Officers responded to the residence and located TETREAULT, who appeared to be standing over a Burger King bag. He was arrested without incident. 

A subsequent investigation determined that TETREAULT had exposed himself while in the backyard of the home. 

TETREAULT is scheduled to be arraigned in Woburn District Court on Tuesday. 

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
