Jean E. (Heath) Humphrey, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday April 29, 2024. She was 87 years of age.
Jean was an accomplished teacher in Arlington and Reading for many years. She loved her music and occasionally playing the piano. She was an avid bird watcher and a big sports fan especially of her beloved Red Sox. She enjoyed arts and crafts and puzzles.
Jean is the beloved mother of Michael Humphrey and Patrick Humphrey. She is the loving grandmother of Stephanie Humphrey, Erin Humphrey, and her partner Jeff Nowell, and Julia Humphrey. She is also the great-grandmother of Taylor Nowell and the dear sister of Blanche Townsend. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Parking attendants and an elevator are available.
