Malden Catholic Accepting Nominees for Athletic Hall of Fame

MALDEN, MA. (April 9, 2024) – Malden Catholic’s Athletics Hall of Fame was originally established in 1989 to celebrate the institution’s strong athletic history and outstanding individual athletes, teams, coaches, and volunteers with a formal induction into the MC (Malden Catholic) Hall of Fame for sixteen years. After a 17-year hiatus, the MC Hall of Fame was reignited and renamed after the school’s longest-serving Xaverian Brother, Brother Daniel Cremin, C.F.X., who spent 23 years at the school coaching and teaching physical education instruction and 23 years as a counselor. Malden Catholic hosted the Brother Daniel Cremin, C.F.X. Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in March 2023 and will be continuing the tradition again this year.

Malden Catholic is now accepting nominations for 2024 inductees, recognizing exemplary MC alumni and Girls Catholic alumnae, employees, coaches, and volunteers until June 15, 2024, through this link: MC Athletics Hall of Fame Nomination Form. The new roster of Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in the fall of 2024 and formally inducted at a banquet at the school in November.
