Obituary: Brenda M. Tedesco, 84

Brenda M. Tedesco, a lifelong Woburn resident passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 28, 2024, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a short period of declining health. She was 84. Brenda was the beloved wife of the late William J. Tedesco. Born in Woburn she was the one of six children of the late William and Nora (Higgins) Collins.

Brenda was a 1957 graduate of St. Charles High School. She worked for a number of years at the Marshall’s warehouse in Woburn and also worked for many years as a clerk with the City Credit Union. Brenda took great comfort in her strong Catholic faith. She was a daily communicant and enjoyed practicing her faith and always looked forward to getting together with the “Dunkin Donuts Group” after Mass. She was a tremendous cook and enjoyed sharing her culinary delights with family and friends. Over the years she enjoyed traveling and camping vacations with her family making many wonderful and lasting memories. Brenda will fondly be remembered for her love of family and was at her happiest when she was surrounded by those she loved.

Brenda is survived by her devoted children, Elaine Fowkes and her husband John, Karen Toussaint and her husband Bob, Michele Batchelder and her husband Woody, all of Woburn. She was the loving grandmother of Billy Fowkes and his wife Rachel, Shayne Fowkes and his companion Cristina, Bubba Toussaint and his wife Melissa, Jenn Toussaint and her wife Lindsey, Heather Barker and her husband Justin. Loving great-grandmother of Lyla, Sophia, J.J., Liam, and Drew. Cherished sister of Anne Ginivan of Woburn, the late Rosemary Stima, Robert Collins, Gene Collins, and John Collins.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Tuesday, March 5th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 11:30 a.m. Services will conclude with interment at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
