Reading PD Lifts All-Night Parking Ban

READING, MA — Hopefully, this move does not condemn us to a very wintery March and April, and if it does, we are going to shift blame over to the DPW.

With the warmer weather predicted, we will no longer be enforcing the all-night parking ban on town roads.

We will continue to enforce the all-night parking ban in the municipal lots, as not enforcing it has created an impact on daytime parking.

The municipal lots are the Harnden Street lot (a.k.a. the Walgreens lot), the upper Haven Street lot (a.k.a. the CVS lot), and the lower Haven Street lot (a.k.a. the Brande Court lot or, if you have been in Reading for a long time, the Atlantic lot).
