BOSTON – Representative Richard Haggerty (D-Woburn) and Reading Public Schools METCO Director Kurtis Martin recently attended the Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity, Inc (METCO) legislative briefing and discussion session at the State House. The briefing was focused on significant updates pertaining to student outcomes, racial equity initiatives, and new opportunities within the METCO program. Following the briefing, legislators had the opportunity to ask questions and present their ideas during the collaborative session.
