READING, MA — Reading Police were notified that there is a group calling residents claiming to be raising money for Reading Veterans.
Police officials have been in contact with the Veterans Service Officer for the Town of Reading, and this is not a legitimate fundraiser.
The number that is being used is spoofed and appears to be coming from a Reading number.
