READING, MA — The Reading Community Concert Band held its annual holiday concert this past Saturday, December 2, at the First Congregational Church on Woburn Street. The concert was conducted by RCCB Music Director Stephen Bloom.
The concert featured classic Christmas and Hanukkah songs such as “A Christmas Festival” and “A Rollicking Hanukkah.” The performance of “A New Orleans Nutcracker Suite,” a jazzy take on the Tchaikovsky classic, was a crowd favorite. The concert closed out with “Sleigh Ride.”
The concert was recorded by RCTV and will be shown next week.
