Grace (McBrine) McDonald, age 89, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home in Reading, Massachusetts, on October 17, 2023. She was the cherished wife of the late John E. McDonald and devoted daughter of the late Charles and Grace McBrine, originally of Cambridge, Mass. She was the beloved Mom of Grace Ann Polcari and her husband Edward, John, James and his wife Christine Flynn, Mary and her husband John Delaney, and Kathleen. She was the loving Nana to grandsons Michael and Daniel Polcari, whom she dearly loved. Grace will be forever remembered as the ultimate caregiver; kind, compassionate, and quick to put others’ needs before her own.
A private family service was held at the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, followed by burial next to beloved husband John, at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester, Mass. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks and appreciation to Merrimack Valley Hospice, especially Mary B. and Nicole J., for their care, love and support.
