Reading, MA — Come to the Reading Public Library to participate in a Commonwealth-wide celebration of the freedom to read. Challenges seeking to ban books and censor reading are on the rise nationally and right here in Reading. If you’re tired of all the noise, come to the library to celebrate the freedom to read as a community.
Read what you want on Saturday, September 30. We’ll have cider & donuts, giveaways, and
a storytime for the little ones.
Join us on the library lawn and bring a book or borrow one. You may bring your own chair or blanket, folding chairs will also be available, and children’s storytime begins at 10:00 a.m.
