Whitelam Books is thrilled to host the launch celebration of Jessica Martin’s highly anticipated second novel, The Dane of My Existence, on sale beginning July 4. She will be celebrating the launch at Whitelam Books in Reading, MA with an in-person conversation with fellow author Kerri Maher, on Tuesday, July 11 at 7:00 PM.
This event is free and will include a lively back-and-forth discussion between both authors about their books and writing process. Both will be available for photographs, to answer questions, and to sign their books.
The Dane of My Existence is set in Bard’s Rest, a fictional Shakespeare-obsessed town in New Hampshire. The delightful story follows Portia Barnes, a powerhouse lawyer, who goes toe-to-toe with commercial developer Benjamin Dane, who comes to Bard’s Rest looking to bulldoze the town’s beloved local theater. This is the perfect rom-com for summer.
Jessica Martin will be joined by fellow author Kerri Maher, author of The Kennedy Debutante, The Paris Bookseller, The Girl in the White Gloves, and the upcoming All You Have to Do is Call. A respected writer of historical fiction, Kerri Maher will bring a unique perspective to what promises to be an informative and entertaining conversation about books, writing, and romance.
