Waltham, MA – Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA), the largest girl serving organization in Massachusetts and 10th largest Girl Scout council in the United States, is proud to recognize Kelly Corwin of Reading with the GSUSA Thanks Badge.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts celebrated the dedication and skill of their 11,500 volunteers at their annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration, which took place on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The 2023 class of GSEMA Volunteer Recognition Honorees included over 90 volunteers.
Volunteer recognition pins are awarded at the council level based on an individual’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), which has had a measurable impact on mission delivery in one (or more) geographic areas of service. Volunteers are eligible every three years.
Kelly Corwin was awarded the GSUSA Thanks Badge. The Girl Scouts of the USA Thanks Badge recognizes volunteers whose ongoing commitment, leadership and service have an exceptional, measurable impact on meeting the mission-delivery goals and priorities of the entire council or Girl Scout Movement.
