Edward J. Surette of Reading passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at age 81.
Born on Thursday, September 11, 1941, in Chelsea, Ed is the beloved son of the late Emile Surette and Loretta (D’Entremont) Surette. Ed is a warm, gentle & kind son, brother, companion, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Ed worked for several years as an accountant for Uni First Corp.
Ed is the loving companion of Laura Goldstein. The brother of Charles Surette and his wife Pauline, he is the uncle of Denise Clement, Diane Coffin & Nicole Carta.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Edward’s Eternal Life will be held on Monday, February 20 at 1 pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Edward’s Family for Visiting Hours prior to the Service beginning at 11am. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
